Royal Wedding: Zara Phillips marries in Stewart Parvin dress

Another month, another Royal Wedding and that can only mean one thing – another designer dress! This time it was Zara Phillip’s turn, walking down the aisle at the Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh to wed rugby star fiancé Mike Tindall, wearing a simple and shapely dress from the Queen’s favourite couturier Stewart Parvin.

Her modern shape dress was a world away from Kate Middleton’s Alexander McQueen Royal Wedding dress, which stole the headlines this April, opting for a sleeveless and basic ivory silk dress which showed off her enviable hourglass figure. To finish the bridal look Zara wore a layered silk tulle veil and a Greek ‘Key’ tiara, leant to her by her mother, Princess Anne.

And of course, the Princess and professional horse rider went for the ultimate high-fashion footwear for her big day – a pair of Jimmy Choos.

The couple were greeted by crowds who paved the Scottish streets waving Union Jack flags, all there to celebrate the first Royal Wedding in Scotland in 20 years.
