Yahoo Style will be the official live partner for London Fashion Week, with live video coverage of catwalk shows, exclusive interviews, and trend reports from the fashion shows.
Viewers will be able to choose from a selection of live video streams to enjoy a peek behind the scenes of one of the fashion industry’s biggest events. There will also be pre-recorded interviews with designers, models, and hair and makeup artists available.
Alongside the videos, fashion fans will have access to articles, slideshows, look-books, street fashion round-ups, and daily show reports in an attempt to make London Fashion Week more accessible to consumers.
The partnership contract also extends to the event in February 2018 and London Fashion Week Men’s in June. Yahoo Style will also be live reporting from The Fashion Awards in December and showcasing British designer talent via interviews and slideshows throughout the year.
Yahoo Style editor, Alison Coldridge, said: “London Fashion Week is a highlight of the industry calendar, marking one of the most diverse, creative showcases on the fashion circuit. Yahoo Style is a destination for the fashion conscious and we’re thrilled to be working with the British Fashion Council to make the events more accessible than ever before. We’ll be at every runway, in front of leading designers and on the streets speaking with the public about all the latest styles and trends.”
London Fashion Week runs from 15-19 September at The Shore Studios, 180 Strand.
