Celebrating a decade this year, this summer’s Vauxhall Art Car Boot fair is set to be bigger and better than ever. Head down the Old Truman Brewery at 12pm on Sunday 9th June for a fabulous day of affordable art, entertainment and the coming together of some of Britain’s most innovative and ground breaking artists.
The aim of the day is not only to raise money for some very worthy charitable causes, but to let everyone have the chance to be an art collector for the day. With pieces by some incredible household names including Sir Peter Blake, Pam Hogg, Pure Evil, Billy Childish, Matt Collishaw and Emin International, there is something for everyone’s tastes. With prices starting from £10 it really is a great chance to get your hands on some super-duper art that might be worth a few million one day (don’t quote us on that). Once you’ve bought your art, stick around as there will be a whole range of superbly quirky British entertainment, performances, food and much more to indulge your cultural taste buds. The atmosphere of the whole day is guaranteed to be fantastic and not something to be missed. Who knows you might even spot a few famous faces.
Tickets for the event are £5 and these can be purchased on the door on the day. To find out more information about the event go to www.artcarbootfair.com or follow @artcarbootfair / @vauxhall for updates on artists, activities and exclusive news on pieces being offered this year.
