British watch brand Uniform Wares has announced the launch of its updated M42 chronograph watch, which features the most accurate quartz movement on the market – the ETA PreciDrive.
The updated watch has been restyled for the first time in six years with a bead-blasted case, bezel chamfer, and dial in black, white, and grey, with brushed accent details. The strap is available in Italian caoutchouc rubber, Milanese nappa leather, or laser fused titanium mesh. The M42 is also available in polished steel or PVD black.
The ETA PreciDrive movement gives the M42 a precision of +/- 10 seconds a year, which is 10 times the accuracy of standard quartz movements. Only a few other watch companies are using this technology, including Omega, Breitling, and Tissot.
The M42 Chronograph is priced at £650 and is available from uniformwares.com, Mr. Porter, END Clothing, and select independent retailers.
