TUMI teams up with British Heart Foundation for charity initiative

Luxury luggage brand TUMI has teamed up with the British Heart Foundation to launch a charity initiative aimed at reducing waste.

Between now and 30th of September selected TUMI boutiques will be accepting any backpack or briefcase from any brand which otherwise have been thrown away and filling up landfill, which will be sold in BHF shops to raise funds for heart research. Customers who donate a bag will receive a 20% discount towards the purchase of a new TUMI bag.

Participating stores include: London Regent Street; Westfield; Covent Garden and London City Airport; Rolling Luggage stores at Heathrow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, St. Pancras, Birmingham and Gatwick North; and Case Luggage at London Piccadilly and Heathrow T2.

Damien Mignot, General Director of TUMI said: “This initiative will help provide funds to support essential research into heart disease, stroke, diabetes and vascular dementia. The British Heart Foundation is the most important funder of cardiovascular research in the UK and without the money raised from their shops many vital projects would not be able to continue. This partnership will help to fund further research across the UK, to beat heartbreak forever.”
