Meghan Markle’s wedding designer has announced the launch of “Stella McCartney – Made with Love” – the brand’s first bridal collection.
Although the label has earned top spot as one of the most sought after wedding dress designers after the world watched Meghan Markle walk down the aisle to marry Prince Harry wearing a simple high-neck Stella McCartney gown, they didn’t even have a bridal range to choose from until recently.
The debut Made with Love collection includes nine contemporary styles including a minimal high-neck gown similar to Meghan’s, a halter neck styled on her second wedding look, a sequined slip dress, a cream lace jumpsuit, and a white tuxedo.
The designer said about the new collection: “It’s something that I feel very passionately about and is very close to my heart. I think that in this day and age the wedding day is something very different to how it’s traditionally perceived, and I think that the house of Stella McCartney really represents something a little more effortless.”
Brides-to-be wanting to shop the new collection must book a consultation in-store. Each dress sold will be completed with the addition of a “something blue” tag sewn inside the dress with a personal message written by the designer.
The collection will grow over time to include 17 bridal styles as well as accessories, menswear, and flower girl and page-boy options.
