The London 2012 Organising Committee (LOCOG) have announced plans to collaborate with students from the Royal College of Art, to design key elements of the Victory Ceremonies for the London 2012 Games.

RCA postgraduate students will design key features of the ceremonies, including the podia where athletes will receive their medals, costumes, flower holders and trays to carry the medals and flowers. The students will attend each stage of the process, from production to attending the games to see their designs in action.

Over 770 Victory Ceremonies will take place in 29 different venues across the UK and will be watched by thousands live and on television worldwide. A great way to promote young British designers and to make sure our athletes look fabulous!
