Rock music inspired fashion brand Rockins has opened a new pop-up shop at Selfridges as part of the department store’s Music Matters summer campaign.
Rockins was founded by Tim Rockins and Jess Morris in 2014 and includes skinny rock-inspired scarves, denim, and ready-to-wear fashion.
Jess Morris said about the collaboration: “At the moment, music matters more than ever. It’s the one thing that unites everybody no matter what, no matter the religion, the race, who you are. It was really the right thing to do for us and we are so happy with the result, the space really stands out.”
A launch party for the pop-up was held on 4 July at Park Chinois in Mayfair and attended by several figures from the music and fashion industry including Jamie Hince, Sienna Miller, Mary Charteris, Serena Rees, Karen Elson and Jasmine Guinness.
The Music Matters campaign runs from 20 July to 18 October in Selfridges stores in London, Manchester and Birmingham, and online. Stores will host live music events and merchandise will be available for artists including Guns ‘n’ Roses, The Beatles, Tupac, and Eminem.
Rockins first retail location is set to open on Portobello Road in October.
