Photographs from Kate Moss’ first sitting go up for auction in London

November 23rd will see these lovely pictures of Kate Moss as a fresh faced 14 year-old auctioned off to the highest bidder as part of Bloomsbury Auction’s Photograph sale. We’ve become accustomed to seeing Moss’ face everywhere but these pictures taken by David Ross in 1988 show the model in all her natural beauty. Ross explained that: “She didn’t try to adopt a model attitude of self-absorption and superiority, which at the time was becoming public via media sensation. She was untarnished. A blank canvas, as other writers have put it.”

It’s been estimated the pictures could fetch as much as £1200, but we have a sneaky feeling that they’ll go for a lot more! Going once, going twice…
