US outdoor clothing brand Penfield has launched a new trailwear collection, celebrating the brand’s history and Massachusetts roots.
The original ‘70s garments were designed to withstand the harsh climates of New England’s Atlantic coastline and forests. The new collection is made up of re-imagined pieces that focus on the same utility and durability as the original designs.
While the styles are influenced by ‘70s fashion, the collection uses modern performance fabrics and construction including taped seams and lightweight insulating shells.
Highlights of the collection include the Cyclone rain jacket made from three-layer laminated fabric, and the Equinox down puffer jacket with 80/20, 550 fill premium- down filling.
The collection is available now at penfield.com with items priced from $25 for a classic beanie to $365 for the Equinox down parka in olive camo.
