Away That Day is a new female founded and sustainable UK swimwear brand that offers eco-friendly swimwear with a unique touch.

Each piece is carefully chosen and designed for style and functionality. The luxury fabric used to craft the swimwear, Econyl, is made from recycled ocean plastic and fishing nets.

Econyl was created out of the Healthy Seas initiative, founded by Aquafil in 2013. The purpose of the initiative is to clean the oceans of litter, which is responsible for the death of marine animals.

Away That Day also uses compostable mailing bags and eco packaging such as tissue from a company called NO ISSUE that plants trees in deforested areas. The company also works with small, family-owned factories to ensure they have full visibility of the entire production process and that it is as ethical as possible.

Away That Day swimwear is available from, with pieces priced between £30 and £90.
