NET-A-PORTER launches kidswear with Gucci

NET-A-PORTER has announced the launch of its online kidswear popup, featuring child-size versions of clothing inspired by classic Gucci designs and featuring the signature animal print motifs and iconic Gucci logo.

The campaign announcing the launch of the collection – The Imagination Booth – narrates the story of a group of children exploring a vintage photobooth that brings their stories to life through animations and Gucci motifs.

The Gucci kidswear line includes clothing for babies, boys, and girls up to age 12, with several unisex styles.

Alison Loehnis, president of said: “Our customers love Gucci and the brand’s DNA translates incredibly well into kidswear. And, I would hasten to add, the clothes are incredibly cute.”

She added: “Over the years we have had consistent requests for kidswear from our customers, especially our most engaged ones. Women and men are not just thinking about style in terms of their own wardrobes, but in a broader sense of family and lifestyle.”

The collection is set to launch on 16 July 2018 and will be available for six weeks only.
