Mulberry is to launch a “Made To Last” exhibition during London Fashion Week, which will include a handbag exchange where customers can trade in their existing Mulberry bags and accessories towards a new bag.
Bags brought to the Mulberry Exchange will be authenticated and appraised, and they will then receive a Mulberry gift card equal to the value of the bag, which can be used towards a new purchase in store or online. There will also be a selection of pre-owned bags available to buy, donated by some of the brand’s highest profile fans.
Pre-loved bags will be available at the Bond Street and Gee’s Court stores, and the Mulberry Exchange is also available at the Regent Street, Covent Garden, and White City London stores as well as several other Mulberry stores across the UK.
The Made To Last exhibition aims to celebrate the brand’s past, present, and future with an immersive installation and a three-day programme of live music, events, and a pop-up café.
Mulberries factories will be transported from Somerset to the Bond Street store for the event, so customers can see in person how the bags are made.
The event will also launch the new M Collection, made from a blend of recycled nylon and sustainable cotton.
