Mulberry has announced the launch of a limited edition capsule collection of Iris bags in a vibrant new colour palette, created by creative director Johnny Coca in collaboration with model Iris Law.
The bags feature a tie-dye-inspired dégradé colour effect in shades that are reminiscent of an Ibizan sunset. Contrasting leather trims are sourced from gold-rated tanneries and the designs are printed with water-based ecological ink. The bags’ lining is made from sustainable cotton.
The collection was launched on 10th March in the Mulberry flagship store on Regent Street with a launch party themed around the pair’s time together in Tokyo at a brand event.
Iris Law said about working on the collection: “I love working with Mulberry; Johnny and I really bonded over our love of Japan. The idea of making an ‘Iris for Iris’ was something I was so inspired to do! It has been such a pleasure to get behind the scenes of an iconic British brand, and the opportunity to learn first hand from their design team and craftspeople has been incredible. I am so proud to share the result.”
The bags are available for purchase now from selected stores and online from mulberry.com
