Mulberry has officially introduced their Autumn Winter ’19 collection, which combines reserved British eccentricity with contemporary style for the modern woman.
The collection is designed around a colour palette of Deep Amber, Nordic Blue, and Crimson. Following the concept of the “Modern British Wardrobe”, the ready to wear collection includes tailored suiting and pieces constructed from whimsical and bold prints. The prints are echoed in crystal and sequins on the new Keeley bag.
The Keeley has a feminine design that crosses effortlessly from day to night. The collection includes a satchel and a shoulder bag in two sizes, all of which feature the distinctive Keystone Lock hardware. A detachable metal chain connects the lock to the body of the bag, and can also be worn as a bracelet.
A selection of enamel letter charms, leather letter stickers, and key-rings allow Mulberry’s bags to be personalised, so everyone can make the collection their own.
The campaign for the new collection was shot against the backdrop of the classic British pub, with its spirit of community and diversity. These theme will be carried through to Mulberry’s “My Local” pop-up events, which will be held in major international cities. The series kicks off in London with an event themed around British pub culture.
Johnny Coca, Mulberry Creative Director, says about the new collection: “This season, my focus was simple: to create building blocks for a modern British wardrobe. Pieces which reflect both who women are and who they want to be. The pub seemed like the perfect landscape to explore this concept, an everyday venue that frequently witness grand futures planned and unforgettable presents unfold.”
