Morrisons launches first womenswear collection

UK supermarket chain Morrisons has announced its Nutmeg clothing label will be launching its first womenswear collection for spring/summer 2017.

The label was started as a childrenswear brand in 2013, and has recently expanded to offer loungewear and nightwear. The new range will include casual wear, occasion wear, denim, activewear, and outerwear and will be available from 50 stores across the UK.

The range is inspired by major high street trends such as tropical prints, cold-shoulder tops, and sports luxe.

Pieces in the new collection start from £3 ranging up to £30 for a coat, and are available in sizes 8-22. Clothing category director, Christine Bryce, said “We listened to our customers and they said they wanted affordable, quality clothing with real attention to detail and, of course, it had to be fashionable.”
