It’s certainly been a busy week for design duo Meadham Kirchhoff. Not only has their fourth Topshop collaboration landed in store, but it’s also been announced that the brand will be the focus of The Victoria and Albert Museum‘s next Fashion in Motion series.
The Fashion in Motion series brings catwalk shows by top brands to the museum, with the aim of bringing fashion to life through movement. Four free catwalk shows will take place on December 6, presenting highlights of the label’s womenswear collections.
The London based designers, who met at world famous Central St Martins, will select personal highlights for the catwalk shows to appear at the museum.
“We are very pleased to be involved with the V&A’s Fashion in Motion series,” the designers said. “When approaching every collection or garment we secretly hope to make something worthy of being seen in a museum, so for us it is an honour to present a show comprised of hand-picked pieces from our favourite collections.”
Other designers who have been honoured with being a part of the series include Vivienne Westwood, Erdem and favourite of the Duchess of Cambridge, Jenny Packham.
Admission to the event is free but booking essential.
