BRAXFIELD is a new independent fashion label that was created with the aim of producing luxury women’s occasion-wear with a commitment to having a positive impact on the environment.

The SS20 collection, launching online on the 2nd February, 2020 is made from biodegradable fabrics sourced from sustainable forestry and recycled materials or dead stock.

The range is inspired by beautiful and strong women and is feminine and elegant, with vintage details. Pieces include the Jax jumpsuit with bow back and wide leg, Hannah asymmetric drape dress, and unique illustrated tees made from GOTS-certified organic cotton.

All BRAXFIELD garments are bespoke and made to order in the UK. As a pioneer of the slow fashion revolution, BRAXFIELD hopes to reduce the waste associated with fast fashion. All sample garments will be auctioned annually, with proceeds donated to charity.

Barbara Ann Colombo, Creative Director and Designer at Braxfield said: “I couldn’t be more thrilled to bring Braxfield to the market and realise a long-standing dream of mine to create stylish, beautiful pieces, on demand, in biodegradable, sustainable or end of roll fabric, with as little waste as possible. After working in the fast fashion industry for over 15 years and witnessing first-hand the lack of environmental care that mass production brings, I realised the
demand for sustainable luxury occasion-wear and created a brand that we are passionate about and our customers can be proud to wear.”

The collection is available from, with prices ranging from £240 – £425.
