Kristen Stewart has been revealed as the face of the new Gabrielle Chanel perfume and will star in the new campaign, due for release this September.
The film campaign for the new scent was shot by Ringan Ledwidge and the print ad was licensed by Karim Sadli.
Kristen Stewart has been a brand ambassador for Chanel since 2013 and currently also stars in the campaign for the Gabrielle bag. She was made the face of Chanel makeup in February 2016 and has appeared in several different cosmetics campaigns.
Gabrielle is Chanel’s first new pillar fragrance in 15 years and was created by Olivier Polge and the in-house fragrace creation and development laboratory. The scent has been described as an “abstract floral” inspired by the rebellious spirit of Chanel in the early days before she became Coco. The company hopes that the new fragrance will rank in the top 10 perfumes, worldwide.
