London-based eyewear brand Kite has announced the launch of its Legends collection, which draws inspiration from the history of innovation in its home city.
The collection of four frames have been designed with a traditional aesthetic, updated for todays fashion, and created with cutting-edge technology.
The minimalist wire frames are laser cut from stainless steel and include premium leather detailing – a nod to traditional craftsmanship and the artisans who have handcrafted clothing and accessories from natural materials for hundreds of years.
To celebrate the launch of the new collection, Kite has collaborated with four artists who are redefining the London sound: Pianist and composer Ashley Henry, singer songwriter Cherise Adams-Burnett, pianist and composer Amané Suganami, and trumpet and flugelhorn player Yazz Ahmed. Each of the styles is named after the artist that represents its aesthetic.
The Legends collection frames are available now from kiteeyewear.com and Kite Shoreditch, priced at £250.
