After a three year hiatus, Kate Moss is to collaborate with Topshop on a fashion collection. Rumours began to rumble after Kate was spotted front row at the Topshop Unique show during London Fashion week last month, alongside her daughter Lila.
The partnership originally began in 2007, but was put on hold in 2010. Topshop owner and close friend of Moss Sir Philip Green said of the news: “I am personally thrilled that Kate wanted to come back to Topshop to work with us again. The first time around was such a lot of fun, and she has been sorely missed”.
The 40-piece collection will be available to buy from April 2014 and will be available in over 40 countries, reflecting the brand’s global reach and rapid expansion.
The Telegraph reports that the supermodel was inspired by the capital’s increasing relevance on the world fashion stage: “Kate was talking about London as a style city, and how it was becoming ever more relevant on the international stage.” We can’t wait to see how this influences her designs.
