Kate Moss, close friend of George Michael, will present the one-off documentary, which will include a peak behind the doors of George Michael’s north London home, interviews with friends and family of the star, and an insight into how he lived before his untimely death.
The Sony-backed documentary, entitled Freedom, is being made by long-term friend David Austin and is intended to be a tribute to his life.
Kate Moss was one of George’s closest neighbours in Highgate and agreed to present the documentary, despite rarely granting interviews. She’s been spotted recently filming segments at the semi-detached house, where fans still leave floral tributes and cards to the star on the pavement and green outside the home.
The property, worth around £10 million, was reportedly left to George’s older sister after his death.
Freedom is planned to air on Channel 4 later this year.
