Aaah the great outdoors – the perfect place for a fashion ad campaign wouldn’t you agree? That’s John Lewis’ thoughts as they’ve announced plans to launch their largest fashion ad campaign to date on 5th September, which will include outdoor ads (we’re expecting billboards and bus stops) as well as other press such as fashion monthlies, weeklies, suppliments and websites including Vogue and Telegraph Fashion.
The fashion campaign was shot by UK photographer Laurie Bartley and features British actors Hans Matheson and Clara Paget, who were chosen to promote the face of British fashion. Susanne Given, buying director of fashion at John Lewis, told Drapers: “We chose a British team to work on this campaign in order to highlight our continuing support of British industry, British talent and British style.”
The two campaign images capture the different lifestyles and situations that John Lewis can carry consumers through – from an autumn day out to a night on the town.
What do you think of the campaign?
