Premium fashion tradeshow Jacket Required has announced a series of talks with industry experts, kicking off with British fashion designer Christopher Raeburn.
The Christopher Raeburn “In Talks With” session will be held at 2pm on Wednesday 23rd January at the Old Truman Brewery in London. The session will also include a panel of other industry experts including Hans Ates from Blackhorse Lane Ateliers and Stacey Wood from King & Tuckfield, all of who will be interviewed by British fashion commentator Caryn Franklin M.B.E. The theme of this first session will be “Crafted to Last – the movement towards slow fashion”.
Christopher Raeburn is a graduate of London’s Royal College of Art, and is known for his designs utilising military fabrics — parachutes in particular. Christopher’s work has brought sustainability to mainstream luxury fashion.
Lindsay Hoyes, Event Director of Jacket Required said: “The concept of fashion for life, the move away from fast fashion and how the retailer and end consumers can embrace this movement is going to be a fascinating discussion.”
As well as the “In Talks With” session, attendees at Jacket Required will be treated to a sneak peek of the latest collection under the newly rebranded RÆBURN label, as well as new collections from K-Way, Sperry, Psycho Bunny, Le Mont Saint Michel, Peregrine Clothing, Knickerbocker, Cheaney, Colorful Standard, Hummel, Quoddy, Armor Lux, Dickies, Grenson, Guess, Happy Socks, Pendleton, 7L System, Mephisto Originals, Portuguese Flannel, Teva, Yogi Footwear, Colmar, Karl Kani, American Trench, Craighill and Monokel.
