Department store and global fashion retailer Harvey Nichols is rebranding as Holly Nichols for the month of September to launch its new campaign in celebration of women, “Let’s hear it for the girls.”
A new “Holly Nichols” sign has been unveiled on the front of the Knightsbridge store, along with re-branded shopping bags and signage nationally.
All social media channels have also been rebranded and the store’s website can now be accessed from www.hollynichols.com.
The homepage of the website declares: “WAVE GOODBYE TO HARVEY. SAY HELLO TO HOLLY. This is the year of the woman. A celebration of you being you. A celebration of all-of-us being all-of-us. United in a dream of female empowerment.”
Harvey Nichols name comes from its original founder Benjamin Harvey, but his wife Anne led the company and forged the partnership with James Nichols after his death in 1850.
The Harvey Nichols company has continued to champion gender equality and currently seven out of nine of the company’s board members are women.
Further activity including trunk shows, launches, brand parties, and inspirational talks from admirable women are also planned throughout September.
