Glossier will be officially launching in the UK on Monday 9th October.
The brand will launch online initially from the glossier.com website, where UK customers will be able to shop and receive items quickly without incurring large shipping and import charges.
Glossier was available only in the US until recently. They launched in Canada in July and have plans to expand to France next year.
CEO Emily Weiss said: “Since day one, we’ve dreamt of making Glossier a global beauty brand that celebrates girls and beauty in real life. We’ve always been internationally focused thanks to the Into The Gloss readership and our community on social media. Now we’re excited to actually get Glossier in their hands.”
The Glossier brand started out as a fashion blog, Into The Gloss, set up by Weiss while she was working as a fashion assistant for American Vogue. Glossier beauty products were created to meet the needs and desires of the blog’s readers.
The product range is priced between £9 and £29 and includes high-quality makeup and skincare items in Instagrammable pink packaging, designed to be a more affordable alternative to overpriced luxury beauty brands.
