Garbstore opens anniversary store in Seven Dials

Garbstore.ten, a store created to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of menswear brand Garbstore, has opened in Seven Dials, London.

As well as hosting the brand’s latest collection, “Sunday Dispatch”, the space will be home to a series of exhibitions, events, and collaborative projects playing homage to some of the most inspirational brands and designers that Garbstore has worked with over the last decade.

‘KEEN: UNEEK Journey of Innovation’ open until the 1st October, showcases prototypes from the original design process and key styles from the archives. Keen UNEEK was born out of a desire to create an entirely new footwear concept that challenged the aesthetics and design of any other kind of sandal.

Also on display is Reebok “The Next Step: Running Heritage” illustrating Reebok’s journey from a local UK company to a global brand. The exhibition will showcase original prototypes, running shoes, and apparel spanning the history of the brand from 1969 to 1985.

Garbstore is collaborating with the LA-based brand Surf is Dead to produce a capsule collection of tees, hoodies, and track-pants featuring their iconic logo combined with “call-girl” graphics inspired by London phone booths.

The Garbstore Decade Tee collection will also be launched to celebrate the anniversary, featuring designs by Michael Koppelman, Brain Dead, and Say Hello, among others. A percentage of proceeds from the sale of these tees will be donated to the Refugee Crisis.

Garbstore.ten is now open at 9 Earlham Street, Seven Dials.
