FRUU is the world’s first lip balm range to be made from up to 60% ingredients from surplus fruit including mango butter, avocado cold pressed oil, watermelon seed oil, and lemon seed oil. All fruit-derived ingredients are produced from damaged fruits and unused seeds and kernels.

The UK currently produces 10.2 million tonnes of food waste annually, and 4.4% of the world’s carbon emission is generated from food waste. FRUU founders developed the product range with the aim or reducing landfill waste and the use of unsustainable materials.

FRUU offers premium organic vegan skincare products at an accessible price point, working towards their goal of offering affordable sustainability.

Products are available from fruuskin.com and in Holland & Barrett stores nationwide. Fruitilicious lip balms are £3 each, highly-tinted colour balms are £5, and coffee scrubs are £10.
