Modern technology meets traditional craftsmanship
With all the advantages that come with living in 2020, sometimes it’s hard to believe how many men still walk around in clothes that don’t fit well. We all need a well-cut suit in our wardrobes, or at the very least a pair of trousers that don’t sag in unflattering places. Whether you’re looking for formal eveningwear to complement your Martini, or you’re in need of a new outfit to match a recent promotion, Edit Suits Co. offers a custom tailoring experience like no other.
Thanks to a smart use of technology, Edit Suits Co.’s process is simple and efficient – taking 3-5 weeks to be precise. Make an appointment at one of their showrooms, select your customisations, get your measurements taken, and receive your custom-made garments in minimal time. Once they have your measurements, they offer a webshop that allows you to purchase custom garments online – perfect for businessmen who are time-poor.
The Edit Suits Co. story
Edit Suits Co. was founded in 2014 by Reto Peter and Patrick Jungo, having both spent years working in the financial districts of London and Asia.
During their time in Singapore, the pair noticed that men rarely shopped for off-the-peg suits, instead choosing custom tailoring due to its fast turnaround time and accessibility in the region. They saw an opportunity to bring a similar value proposition to Western markets, with London identified as the initial target. In 2014 Edit Suits Co. was born.
Savile Row fabrics without the price tag
The brand offers a lot more than a nine-to-five office suit. Their product offering includes shirts, overcoats and tuxedos, all custom made using the finest fabrics, sourced everywhere from Huddersfield to Northern Italy. (Isn’t it great to know that the mills of West Yorkshire are still giving the Italians a run for their money?)
The number of fabric choices on offer could be overwhelming, if it wasn’t for the experienced group of tailors that guide each customer through their appointment. Furthermore, the quality and selection of the fabrics on offer matches that used on Savile Row. From the finest cashmere to luxurious tweeds, the brand use nothing but the best.
Future plans: Technology meets traditional craftsmanship
To streamline the often-laborious tailoring process, Edit Suits Co. decided to utilise technology from an early stage. This enabled the business to scale up and offer palatable prices. This technology-driven direct-to-customer model is one of the most sophisticated on-demand clothing supply chains globally.
The processes and systems in place mean that Edit Suits Co. can offer fast delivery times, great value for money, and once measurements are taken, customers can re-order online whenever they choose to do so.
The company is now planning to expand their offering with a tailoring service for a younger audience, offering buyers a high-quality custom-made alternative to the box shaped high-street alternatives.

The company already has plans to move into bigger premises in London, and expand their operations in the UK and Europe in 2020, meaning in the near future there will be considerably fewer people wearing trousers that droop in unsightly areas.
