Denim brand Donna Ida is making plans to expand into a lifestyle brand, starting with a new collection of candles for autumn winter 2017.
The “I’ve Got My Eye On You” candle will be the first of two, available from October. The candle will be presented in monochrome packaging and scented with a seductive and feminine fragrance with a hint of rose to capture the essence of winter.
The second candle is planned to launch in March next year for spring summer 2018 and will be scented with an English country garden them including dominant notes of summer herbs.
Fragrances for the new candles were created with acclaimed perfume designer Azzi Glasser.
Nightwear, outerwear, and accessories are the other items to be included in the new lifestyle brand, which will launch with a new website.
Donna Ida Thornton, founder of the brand, said: “The demand we hear from customers has reflected in our figures and so we’re confident to increase our offering into the lifestyle market. Moving in this direction has enabled us to be more creative, to listen to our customers and influencers, and produce the iconic staple styles and fashion forward statement pieces for the modern woman.”
