David Gandy becomes Battersea Dogs & Cats Home ambassador

Pictures of supermodel David Gandy stroking adorable dogs has made our Monday. The Essex-born model and self-confessed animal lover has just landed himself another great gig as an ambassador for Battersea Dogs & Cats home.

David, who told us in an interview that he would’ve loved to have been a vet, is the first big name to become an ambassador of the charity, which helps care for abandoned and neglected animals. He has frequently visited Battersea since being bought a kennel sponsorship as a gift, and has now put his name to the cause. “Battersea is determined to help tackle the problem of the strays on our streets and start chipping away at people’s attitudes towards more responsible pet ownership and breeds such as Staffies and I hope to help support them as much as I can,” he said.

We’re looking forward to some more Gandy-with-puppy pictures, as well as seeing what great work he does for the charity, of course.
