Cara Delevingne stars alongside Matt Smith in Burberry’s campaign for their latest collection, the first to be released since the announcement that Christopher Bailey will be leaving the brand.
The 80’s style video for the campaign alternates between black and white and VHS-style colour with a soundtrack provided by the Pet Shop Boys. Delevingne and Smith playfully model classic items such as the trench coat and cashmere scarf in the famous Burberry check.
The images for the new collection were shot by Alasdair McLellan and feature the pair modelling items from the new collection including a red laminated trench coat, classic Burberry check scarf, fair isle knits, and the new animal key charms.
The 25-year-old model first shot to fame after she was scouted by Bailey and cast in Burberry’s spring/summer 2011 campaign.
Cara Delevingne said: “I am so proud to share this new shoot I did with Alasdair McLellan and Matt Smith. Thank you to the creative genius and my dear friend Christopher Bailey for involving me in this and all the incredible projects over the years. It has been and always will be a joy to work with you and the Burberry family.”
The new Burberry collection is available online and in stores now.
