Outerwear clothing company Canada Goose has announced it will be opening its first European store on Regent Street in London.
The new flagship store is reported to be on 244 Regent Street, occupying the previous premises of Armani Exchange.
This store will be the third retail outlet for Canada Goose, which already has stores in Toronto and New York.
The revenue of the company has increased by over 450% in the last five years and more worldwide stores are on the cards as part of its expansion plans. After announcing the opening of the London store, the IPO price of the company increased from £10.35 to £13 per share on the first day of trading. The company is valued at £1.37 billion.
Canada Goose was founded in Toronto in 1957 and has supplied luxury outerwear to scientists and adventurers in the Arctic and Antarctic since the 1980s. Canada Goose jackets have also appeared in Hollywood movies including The Day After Tomorrow, and National Treasure.
The London flagship is expected to open in autumn 2017.
