London-based menswear brand Oliver Spencer and bicycle brand Brompton have joined forces to produce a blazer designed with commuters in mind.
The Brompton blazer by Oliver Spencer takes inspiration from the 3-way fold Brompton bicycle to create a versatile and stylish blazer that can be folded and stored away in an integrated musette bag. The blazer can also be worn using the integral bag straps in warmer weather.
The blazer is made from a textured Italian water-resistant performance cloth that retains its shape and avoids creasing when folded.
Oliver Spencer said about the concept for the blazer: “I wanted to create something that became an automatic choice for a cyclist in the morning when they were leaving the house… it’s versatile because of the fabric; you can screw it up and throw it in your bag and know that when you pull it out later in the day it’s crease-free and good to go.”
The blazer is available for purchase online at brompton.com and from the Brompton Junction store in Covent Garden, London, priced at £385.
