Australian boot brand Blundstone celebrated Australia Day on 26th January with the opening of its first dedicated store in the UK.
The 600 sq ft Pop-up in Covent Garden is designed with inspiration from the home of the brand – Tasmania. White walls are furnished with minimalist wooden shelves and the rear of the store features a floor to ceiling countryside landscape.
Blundstone CEO, Steve Gunn, said about the opening: “With over 200 products available today throughout 50+ countries, we are extremely excited to provide our customers in the UK with an all encompassing Blundstone shopping experience. This store allows us to create a one stop shop to showcase the breadth of our product set.”
Blundstone was founded in 1870 and is known for making tough high quality boots that are equally suitable for work or play. Like the store, the colour palette of the boots reflects the Tasmanian landscape with styles in rustic brown and black, stout brown in leather and canvas.
The Blundstone pop-up is located at 24 Neal Street, Covent Garden.
