BBC Two to air show about Christmas at John Lewis

British retailer John Lewis has become the subject of a new BBC Two programme, with documentary maker Cherry Healey going behind the scenes to explore “how it survives the pressure cooker of Christmas”.

Entitled Christmas Shopping Fever: John Lewis And The Retail Race,  Healey will come face-to-face with members of the wider John Lewis team, seeing how they put together press launches, discount days and even its iconic Christmas ad.

The hour-long show will also look at the stresses of operating in the online market place, from competing with rival sites to delivering products in time for the big day.

Catch Christmas Shopping Fever: John Lewis And The Retail Race on BBC Two on 23 December at 9.30pm.
