Accessories designer Anya Hindmarch is creating a four-day art installation in Brewer Street Car Park to mark the start of London Fashion Week.

“The Weave Project” is a ticketed installation with a centrepiece called “The Tube” – a woven mesh tunnel that visitors can climb through.

The installation coincides with the launch of an updated version of the designer’s “Neeson” woven leather tote bag.

Alongside the art installation itself will be a café and a concept store where visitors can shop for one-off merchandise and items from the spring/summer 2019 Neeson collection. Items can also be personalised with hand-woven symbols, words, and initials.

Hindmarch said: “The weave project’ will be a completely immersive and playful installation that you can experience from the inside out. Following on from the ‘Chubby cloud’, we like to take our customers on the journey behind the inspiration for our collections – in this case, the Neeson. This is a beautiful sculpture and a complex project to bring to life, but one that I can’t wait to share.”

Tickets can be booked for the event from 16th – 19th February 2019 at
