Rumour has it that Vogue US editor Anna Wintour is set to pen her memoirs after 23 years at the helm of the Condé Nast fashion magazine, and has allegedly began interviewing potential authors for the job. Boy, would we love to read that! However, camp Vogue have denied all talk of a book, saying the rumours are “absolutely not true”.
It has been reported, though, that insiders believe that she has been looking for collaborators since last spring, with Vogue fashion news director Mark Holgate being named as a favourite.
Anna’s famous right hand woman and creative director, Grace Coddington, began writing her own memoirs last year with Vogue Homme writer Jay Fielden, but put the plans aside when Fielden became editor of Town & Country.
