Alexander McQueen play to show in London

Five years on from his passing, a new theatre production about the life of British designer Alexander McQueen has been revealed.

Written by James Phillips, the play follows the story of a girl who breaks in to the designer’s London home to steal a dress, only to be caught by McQueen.

According to reports, the production explores “the visionary imagination and dark dream world” of the fashion icon, directed by John Caird, with production design by David Farley and choreography by Christopher Marney.

The play will run from May 12 to June 6 2015 at the St James Theatre, London.
