If you’re still buzzing about the seemingly lengthy Diamond Jubilee celebrations then you’re in luck – to mark HM The Queen’s 60 years on the throne, over 10,000 diamonds owned by British monarchs are set to go on display at London’s Buckingham Palace next week.

From Sunday July 8th until October 7th, the jewels will be open for viewing as part of the ‘Diamonds: A Jubilee Celebration’ exhibition, which includes previously unseen personal pieces from Queen Elizabeth II.

Queen Victoria’s coronation necklace, also worn by Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, and Queen Elizabeth II at their coronations, is set to be one of the main attractions, as well as the iconic crown designed in 1821, worn by the Queen on postage stamps, banknotes and coins.
