Where to Buy Veja Trainers in London

Where to Buy Veja Trainers in London
French footwear brand Veja has gone from cult favourite to flat-out essential. Its Veja trainers use organic cotton, wild Amazonian rubber, and recycled plastic. The brand also produces every pair in fair trade conditions, working with small-scale farmers and social enterprises in Brazil and France. The result is a trainer you can buy without guilt and wear constantly without getting bored. After years as a London staple at Harrods, Selfridges, and Liberty, Veja opened its own standalone London store in 2024. So whether you want the full brand experience or just need to try a pair before you commit, the city now has more options than ever. Here’s where to buy Veja shoes in London — all confirmed stockists with the full range, in-store.

Where to Buy Veja Trainers in London

Veja — Seven Dials

Veja opened its first-ever London flagship in April 2024 at 45 Monmouth Street, right in the heart of Seven Dials between Covent Garden and Soho. The space is worth visiting on its own merits. London-based interior designer Deidra Hodgson designed the 1,475 sq ft store around a curved shelving display built from 5,000 natural stone bricks made in France. The team chose natural stone specifically for its lower carbon footprint. Staff deliver stock to the store by bike each day. The store also runs an in-store cobbler station — it cleans and repairs trainers from any brand, not just Veja. For the definitive Veja shopping experience in London, start here. Address: 45 Monmouth Street, Seven Dials, London WC2H 9EP Website: veja-store.com

Harrods

Harrods carries one of the most extensive Veja edits in London, including styles that sell out fast elsewhere. Its 42,000 sq ft shoe department — Shoe Heaven — has held the title of world’s largest since 2014. The space delivers: velvet seating, private shopping suites, and staff on hand for fitting and styling. Current Veja styles include the Campo, Esplar, V-10, and the chunkier Venturi. If you need a specific colourway or size, this is a strong first port of call. Address: 87–135 Brompton Road, Knightsbridge, London SW1X 7XL Hours: Monday to Saturday 10am–9pm, Sunday 11.30am–6pm Shop Veja at Harrods: harrods.com

Selfridges

Selfridges is the best London department store for tracking down limited-edition or collab Veja styles. The shoe floor carries men’s, women’s, and kids’ options. Current stock includes the V-10, V-12, Esplar, and Campo, plus recent collab pieces like the Veja x Marni line. Check the website before visiting to confirm availability — stock moves quickly. Address: 400 Oxford Street, London W1A 1AB Hours: Monday to Saturday 9.30am–10pm, Sunday 11.30am–6pm Shop Veja at Selfridges: selfridges.com

Can You Buy Veja Online in the UK?

Yes — and often it’s the quickest way to secure your size. The official Veja UK site carries the full range with UK sizing and direct shipping. Harrods and Selfridges also hold strong online stock with next-day delivery options. If a specific style or size has sold out in-store, check all three before giving up.

Which Veja Style Should You Buy?

New to the brand? Start with the Campo or Esplar — clean, low-top, and easy to wear with almost anything. For more presence, the V-10 and V-12 go sportier with a chunkier profile. The Venturi takes a trail-inspired direction. All four styles currently appear across the London stockists above.

Veja Trainers: Frequently Asked Questions

Which country is Veja from? Is Veja Italian or French?

Veja is French — not Italian. Sébastien Kopp and François-Ghislain Morillion founded the brand in Paris in 2004. The name comes from the Portuguese word for “look” or “see”, which reflects the brand’s commitment to transparency. That Brazilian connection runs deep: Veja sources most of its materials in South America and manufactures its trainers in Brazil. So while the brand is French by origin, it operates across two continents.

Why is Veja so popular?

A few things landed at the right time. Veja built its entire identity around transparency and ethical production — at a moment when shoppers started caring about exactly that. The design also helps. The trainers are clean, minimal, and versatile enough to work with almost any outfit. They don’t shout. Then came the celebrity effect: Meghan Markle wore Veja repeatedly during her time as a working royal, and the brand’s profile jumped overnight. Since then, it has maintained a loyal following by keeping the product consistent rather than chasing trends. The V-10, Campo, and Esplar have barely changed — and that’s precisely the point.

Why is Veja so expensive?

Veja trainers typically cost between £100 and £160. That puts them at the higher end of the trainer market, but the price reflects how the brand operates. Veja pays fair trade prices to its cotton farmers — significantly above commodity market rates. It uses wild Amazonian rubber, which costs more to harvest than synthetic alternatives. It manufactures in certified factories in Brazil rather than outsourcing to lower-cost production lines. The brand also spends nothing on traditional advertising. Instead, it puts that budget back into materials and supply chain standards. So when you buy a pair of Veja trainers, the price reflects the actual cost of making them responsibly — rather than a markup to cover a marketing budget. Last updated: 14 May 2026
