HAIRCVT: the website set to revolutionise choosing a hair stylist in London

Thick or fine, long or short, curly or straight, dyed or au naturel… A person’s hair can be as unique as they are. So trying to find a salon – let alone a stylist – in London who will understand both you and your hair can often feel like you’re looking for a needle in a very large haystack.

Enter HAIRCVT: the new hair website that focuses exclusively on salons and stylists in London, and allows you to browse through hair styles modelled by real customers in order to find your perfect hair match. By using the filters on the side bar, you can tailor your results to your own hair care needs. For example, I have thick and long hair that struggles to hold a curl for more than five minutes, so I wishfully searched for a wavy, Serena van der Woodsen-inspired blow dry.

HAIRCVT didn’t disappoint, with hundreds of styles popping up for me to choose from. You can also categorise by price, if you have a specific budget in mind. Then, once you’ve found your hair-spiration, you can also check out the stylist and the salon on their own individual pages.

My search eventually led me to Amy Loder at the Easton Regal in Clerkenwell. Not only is the salon absolutely gorgeous, but there’s a reason Amy describes herself as the “blowdry queen of Clerkenwell”! After a massaging hair wash, she made easy work of turning my heavy locks into bouncy waves. And the style is still going strong a few days after, which is definitely a sign of a good blowdry.

HAIRCVT caters for both women and men, and – best of all – it’s absolutely free. I really can’t recommend this handy hair tool enough to anyone in search of a salon or stylist: this intuitive website really does have all your hair needs covered.
