The tradition of afternoon tea is stronger than ever in London, with hundreds of hotels, restaurants, and spas all offering their own version of tea and cakes. In the festive season you’re in for a real treat. Christmas afternoon tea is a wonderful way to spend a cosy couple of hours in good company, enjoying mince pie, mulled wine, and other festive goodies.

As well as the usual selection of teas, JING has created a limited edition Savoy Christmas tea with festive spices.

Ballet fans must head to the Waldorf Hilton hotel this year for their Nutcracker-themed afternoon tea. The Waldorf has created a special sugar plum jam for their freshly baked scones. The Waldorf Hilton hotel is just a 10-minute walk from the London Coliseum, so if you have tickets for The Nutcracker, you can combine the two for an experience to remember.
