Have you jumped onto the CBD trend yet? CBD, or cannabidiol is a compound extracted from cannabis plants. CBD is not psychoactive, unlike THC – the compound found in cannabis that gives you a high. Instead, CBD is used for its medical properties. Research is still on-going, but CBD has exciting potential for treating a whole host of medical conditions from anxiety and depression to Parkinson’s disease, and even cancer.
CBD is totally legal in the UK and is available in several forms including oils, tinctures, ointments, and even sweets. However, it’s still not quite a mainstream product and can be difficult to find on the high street.
If you’re looking for CBD in London, there are quite a few new options popping up.
