Full year net revenue for the YOOX Net-a-Porter Group for 2016 has been reported as €1.87bn – a 12.4% increase (17.7% on organic basis) on the previous year.
CEO Federico Marchetti said the group had confirmed its status as a market leader and was now reaping the rewards of offering “unique service, unbeatable product selection, outstanding content and continuous innovation.”
The highest sales were reported for the last quarter of 2016, hitting 19.2% on an organic basis, compared to 17.1% for the first nine months of the year.
The group’s in-season online stores including Net-a-Porter.com and MrPorter.com achieved sales of €968.6m – a growth of 51.8%, and off-season stores Yoox.com and theoutnet.com reported sales growth of 37.2% amounting to €696.8m. Solid growth was reported in all key regions.
The group was formed after the merger of the Yoox group and Net-a-Porter group in 2015 and reported 2.9 million active customers and 8.4 million orders in 2016. Products are sold via four multi-brand online stores serving over 180 countries.
