Whistles has announced today that is to launch menswear next year for the autumn/winter season.
CEO Jane Shepherson, who has transformed the brand into a cult store with a slot on the London Fashion Week schedule, said of the decision that “menswear is something that we have been planning to do since 2008.”
The collection will be designed by recently appointed “high calibre design talent” who will work alongside Design Director Nick Passmore.
Other important landmarks for the label recently have included its expansion into the Asian market with a partnership working alongside Hong Kong retailer Lane Crawford, and its first Nordic store set to open in De Bijenkorf, the Netherlands next month.
