Sport fashion brand Volcom has announced the launch of it’s new Volcom X GMJ collection, designed in collaboration with Mick Jagger’s daughter and model, Georgia May.
The line is inspired by skate culture, ‘80s neons, and ‘70s retro styling and includes t-shirts, crop tops, skirts, jackets, and swimwear. Prices for items in the collection range from $32 to $101.50.
One item in the collection is a pair of red cigarette pants resembling those worn by her mother, Jerry Hall, in the ‘80s. These and several other items in the collection are made from recycled materials including bottles and fishing nets.
Volcom is based out of California and was the first brand to combine clothing for surfing, skating, and snowboarding.
Georgia May Jagger said about the inspiration behind the collection: “I knew about Volcom when I was younger. My life has always been naturally surrounded by skateboarding and music. Even without thinking about it, I just always find myself attracted to the city, street culture, and musicians.”
The collection is available to buy in the UK exclusively in Volcom retail stores and online from Zalando.
