Vivienne Westwood is set to put pen to paper and reveal all about her raucous lifestyle in an upcoming autobiography.

The original punk queen has enlisted the help of renowned biographer Ian Kelly to help in the telling of her tale, which will document everything from her early years, to her iconic 1981 pirate catwalk show, to the receiving of her OBE and every outrageous adventure in between.

Speaking about the book, 72-year-old Westwood said: “The living deserve respect. The dead deserve the truth; Ian and I are working together on this and I am excited that this will be my story, the story nobody ever did before.”

The book is due to be released in October 2014.
