Building on the success of its existing makeup lineup, Topshop has unveiled its ‘The Face’ collection, a series of base products that has been 18 months in development. Available from September, the range of primers, concealers and foundations are designed to adapt to your skin tone ensuring a fresh-faced “no makeup” look.
Customers will have two primers to choose from when the collection launches – a pore and blemish-refining Airbrush primer, and an oil-absorbing powder-based Colour Correcting primer that takes away shine and evens out skin tone. Based on a siliconic gel formula, the foundation has a silky texture and natural-looking finish. The concealer is infused with algae and golden chamomile to target dark circles and puffiness and disguise imperfections.
There will also be a Concealer Palette available which comes with three customisable concealers – one for colour correcting, one for use under the eyes and one for blemishes, as well as an imperceptible translucent finishing powder.
The brand also unveiled its key colours and products for the new season, launching in October, including cheek jellies, lip polishes and gel-like nail polishes in shades of burnt-orange, red and grape. Also new for autumn and available this month is the ‘80s-inspired Molten Metallics collection, including shimmering cream blush, lipsticks and nail lacquers.
