That time of the year is almost upon us and as we’re frantically trying to put our best outfits together, we’ve come up with this list to help you get ready for and subsequently enjoy, one of the best things this city has to offer: London Fashion Week!

 

Chloé Afternoon Tea at the Rosebery

Kick start your fashion week at the Mandarin Oriental’s Rosebery room with a bespoke afternoon tea in inspired by Chloé. Nibble on a selection of sandwiches (we’re looking forward to the crab brioche!) and themed cakes featuring Chloé’s new ‘The Drew’ handbag in cherry, almond and chocolate ganache. £45 per person excluding service and taxes. Vodafone London Fashion Weekend

Featuring designer shopping, catwalk shows and talks by fashion industry experts, London Fashion Weekend is the perfect way to immerse yourself into one of the Capital’s most prominent industries. Go to a Fashion Exhibition at Somerset House

Check out the Guy Bourdin: Image Maker exhibition at Somerset House, showcasing over 100 colour prints of Bourdin’s most significant works and previously unseen sketches, notebooks and drawings from the influential photographer’s estate. Fashion Rules at Kensington Palace

Of evening gowns and hourglass silhouettes – take a few style tips from the leading ladies of the Royal Family, with exclusive access to dresses from the collections of HM the Queen, Princess Margaret and Diana, Princess of Wales. Just a short stroll from Somerset House sits the very grand Savoy. Head straight for the art-deco inspired Beaufort Bar and check out their Pop-up Cocktail Menu crafted by award-winning Head Bartender, Chris Moore. Tip: Order a ‘Coco’ – inspired by Coco Chanel, of course – a delightful mix of Moët and a few special ingredients, served with chocolate pearls.

Catch a glimpse of the chaos that is Fashion Week with a window seat at Fernandez & Wells inside Somerset House. The coffee is pretty good and they’ve got an array of delicious sandwiches too. Make sure you go early, this place is always packed – who says people in fashion don’t eat?

 

Discover Fashion at ME London

Designed by the world famous architects Foster and Partners, ME London plays host to a number of exciting events during London Fashion Week. Don’t forget to check out their Radio Roof Bar – an outdoor terrace with panoramic views of London. Tip: Sunday 22nd February – Catwalk shows by Éthologie and Charli Cohen. Dine at Barrafina

For a quick stop in-between shows, walk over to Barrafina, a tapas bar created by the Hart brothers and a recent recipient of a Michelin star. Queues during peak hours are guaranteed, so pop over mid-afternoon for a seat at the marble-topped counter. They’ve also got a pretty neat wine list, just in case you’re bored from all that Fashion Week champagne.

 

Prep your skin at Liberty
